In 2006 my husband and I lost our minds and bought a vineyard in Argentina. My first book, Malbec Diaries, is about our experiences. Anyone who is thinking about becoming an absentee landlord for a farming operation in a third-world country should pony up $3 and buy this book.
The writing disease runs in the family. I seem to have caught it. My first novel, “Retired to Death” is an amusing little mystery where marijuana, mayhem and murder cross paths in a retirement community. I am currently at work on a new murder mystery with the same protagonist – Fay Hirschkorn – a wine and food obsessed middle-aged wife with three spoiled cats.
Another disease that runs in my family is cancer. To be specific, HBOC, which stands for Hereditary Breast and Ovarian Cancer. In 2012 I will be blogging about my experiences as a cancer survivor. I promise it will not be all gloom and doom!
